What to expect when you walk in

No appointment needed. Here is how a visit works.

Our reception desk under the You Will Get Better sign
  1. Come in any weekday. We are open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, and the doctors see walk-in patients from 9am.
  2. Check in at reception with your name and date of birth. Visitors from overseas, please bring your passport.
  3. Take a seat. We see patients in order of arrival. If you feel very unwell, tell reception straight away.
  4. Waiting times depend on how busy the day is. Please note that on the busiest days the queue can close from 2pm.
  5. Your doctor listens, examines you and agrees a plan with you. Prescriptions, referrals and ACC claims are sorted on the day.
  6. Pay at reception on your way out. Enrolled patients pay lower fees.
  7. Booked an appointment instead? Arrive a few minutes early and check in the same way.
